I agree with 書儀, don’t try to get the comments back, it’s just one day’s comments. we’ll make it up to you, especially now with Tzu-Yi doing her home work of blogging 2 hour a day…
i think you can password protect your blog folder. then people won’t get in and install wordpress for you.
don’t forget to backup all these after all this. i think i should backup my system as well (haven’t done that for a week :dynamic:http://perso.wanadoo.fr/atil/forum/fou2.gif

祖達兄, I tried to use your vars.php and function-formatting.php to overwrite my own files. However there is an error message. It returned an fatal error complaining some strings not found. I don’t think our environments are completely compatible. But I am too lazy to break down each file and figure it out.
Can you just highlight the code you were adding in these two files so that I can just type in my own file?
i don’t know what happen to you guys, really. the web site is down, the database is cleaned, now even this :dynamic: is not working. Ai, what can i say.
I just changed the code for refreshing. It seems working fine while I was typing my comment. It did not erase my typing. Let me know if you experience the same thing. I will change it back.

Dear 喬爹, is it possible that we can just remove the code for refreshing. Just let users to refresh the page on their own. It is very frustrating to rewrite the message.

親愛的書儀,你猜~錯~了,我們還沒有back up。因為我親愛的喬爹一直『說』要back up,我就『以為』他『有』back up,結果,當事情大條的時候,才發現他從『說』到『有』是有時差的。而我們剛剛好落在這個時差的中間。:shock:
想一想,神還真偉大,因為祂說有就有嘛！
那個零星補回的comments是從email上面抓出來的,你就知道我們有多悽慘了吧。 :bigcry:

這幾天發生的事讓我有些好玩的聯想。
因為一直很不順利…
如果是基督徒,就會想：『神可能不喜歡我玩blog吧！』
如果很相信字運,就會覺得：『試說新語這個名字不好,一直卡在『新』這個字上…剛開張就提到當機和駭客,唉唉唉,太不吉利了！』
如果是祖達級的高手,comment已經在樓上啦。

祖達兄,我進去看了一下你的vars和functions_formating,發現你的程式比我們自己的vars及format_formating長很多,其中convert_smiles似乎是做字串parsing然後導出最後的image location.這些我相信都是你寫的. Great!
除了這個function之外,不知道你還有沒有外加其他功能?

其實當初也是因為怕blog功力不夠, 才如此地猶豫.想想看,我web的功力是從七年前剛畢業後就開始折舊,後來上班做的是 communication ,比較偏 EE, 我先生從小到大還沒拿過 Computer Science 的學位, 現在是project management, 早就不再 coding 了.
所以,我們都是邊學邊做的,請多多指教.
我個人覺得:dynamic:很cool, 所以會努力把它弄出來的.謝謝祖達的幫忙.

我學電腦是大學畢業以後的事啦！還上了兩年半整天都在coding的班…，不過呢！還是覺得自己才疏學淺得很…
關於blog，其實我把環境set up好以後，就不太想去改它了（之前抓了幾個galary回來安裝，結果每個都有問題，就不想裝了，也懶得去弄懂它），我覺得，內容還是比較重要的啦！
只是祖達寫的這個實在太好玩了，不弄一下覺得對不起自己，所以就把它copy回去了。就像咪咪說的：「比較tricky的地方就是paste到對的地方， 如此而已。」

鄭重宣布,真的是provider的錯。他們回了一封email說在剛過的那個weekend他們把一些high traffic的網站從我們所屬的server挪出,關閉整個server。我想是他們把我們的資料庫清掉的。當初因為喬爹set up時不是很順,先把資料庫放在test裏,他們也沒通知也沒詢問就把它殺掉了。喬爹已經提出嚴重抗議。在美國就是這樣, 被人踩到要唅一下,否則人家就以為無所謂。

嗯,我贊成我贊成,現在都已經沒日沒夜了,如果再研究下去,肯定連「記得吃飯」都會從你的字典 erase 掉…(我想到我們家蠺寶寶脫皮的樣子.)
而且,這種晝以繼夜的研究精神,如果不小心讓你的blog拿到諾貝爾獎,我們與有榮焉見賢思齊的先生們,可能也開始練習這種「脫皮」的工夫。
